I am a computer professional with strong knowledge in both hardware and software and like to help others fully understand how their system is working to maximize their computer’s functions. I believe in doing the highest quality work possible in the shortest amount of time possible to assure my clients are happy with my work. With my continuously growing knowledge of computers I try to have a diverse area of expertise.
- I have an associate’s degree in computer programming, and took 196 credits from computer programming to computer support to build my computer skills to the highest possible level.
- Currently I work at a non profit youth center (New Beginnings are Possible) as their sole IT professional, where I manage and maintain 12 computers (Vista, Windows 7, XP), 5 printers, and a server (Windows Server 2003) on a wire/wireless network.
- Worked with Catapult Learning with children, grade levels 3-8, struggling with math and reading on computer software.
- Volunteered at an organization, New Horizons Unlimited, repairing and refurbishing more than 400 donated computers and equipment to be given out to people with disabilities.
- Strong computer software and hardware knowledge of all platforms Windows, Macintosh, and Linux.
- Was an intern at Finn Digital working on a website template in HTML/CSS from photoshop designs, also worked on a web dashboard written in C#/ASP.
